Two Person Object

This project stipulated the creation of an object that fit two people. I quickly discovered that a broad prompt is often the most difficult. I decided that interaction and simplicity would be the focus of my solution. The development of this reimagined seesaw only worked with the balancing weight of two people. It took two for the object to realize its potential and purpose.   

I accentuated the sense of movement and balance between the two people by incorporating steel spheres that moved up and down clear tubing on the sides of the seesaw, so that the transfer of weight and movement could be seen, heard, and celebrated.
